Fire damaged an apartment in a residential unit of the Tommy Sexton Centre in the east end of St.John’s.
The kitchen fire yesterday morning at 47 Janeway Place sent the pair briefly to hospital with treatment of burns or smoke inhalation, but they were released a short time later.
