Brothers and Sisters,
As many of you are aware Brother Gerard O’Reilly finds himself in a very serious medical situation; we should all realize that we could just as easily find ourselves in his shoes. Obviously his situation not only affects his health but also affects the well-being of his young family. The Association has been in discussions with Management and Brother O’Reilly to find a means to assist him.
It has been agreed that the best solution is to create a Bank of TOILOOT hours of which Brother O’Reilly can avail.
Members wishing to donate hours should contact the Executive as soon as possible. We will provide you with a Departmental form to sign which simply agrees that you consent to a given number of TOILOOT Hours to be donated to this bank regardless of rank or position. If we all participate for very little effort we could affect a great result and allow Brother O’Reilly and his family to concentrate on his recuperation.
