House fire breaks out across street from St. John’s fire station

From CBC

Firefighters made quick work of a house fire in downtown St. John’s last night.

Flames and smoke were seen coming from a house on Parade Street shortly before 11 p.m. — right across from the St. John’s Central Fire Station.

The blaze was confined to the outside of the rear of the house, and crews were able to stop the fire from spreading to neighbouring homes.
