Newfoundland and Labrador politician George Murphy, whose last day as an NDP MHA is Friday, says the so-called ‘move over law’ in this province is OK — but there is something lacking.

Murphy was the critic for Service NL, when the law came into effect in March 2014.

Speaking on the St. John’s Morning Show, Murphy said it’s “only a matter of time” before an emergency responder is killed as a result of somebody not following the law.
